TV Stars Who Modified Name For Numerology.

Numerology and astrology have certainly been some of those things that have been followed by people for ages. Right from deciding the interior of the house to the number plate of the car, we always tend to link numerology.

The rightness and correctness of this can certainly not be assured but it still plays a significant role in each of the matters. While we as commoners are amongst those who have always considered these things, it is quite surprising to know that the Bollywood and Television industries are also amongst those who strongly follow and believe in the same.

So, today with this post, we have penned a list of some popular actors and actresses who changed their name or rather added some additional letters to their name for the sake of numerology. Let’s have a look:

Ridheema Tiwari from Ridhima Tiwari

This popular television actress gained popularity after her prominent role in the Hindi daily soap opera, Sasural Genda Phool. While the pronunciation of her name remains the same, the actress made amendments in her name by replacing I with ee.

The actress was said to do so for the sake of her drowning career. This actress also ventured into the Bollywood industry with her debut in 2017 with the film Begum Jaan alongside one of the most popular actresses of Bollywood, Vidya Balan.

Nia Sharma from Neha Sharma

Asia’s sexiest woman is also amongst those who fell into numerology and changed her name from Neha to nia.

This television actress was loved for her performance in the popular daily sitcom Ek hazaaron mein meri behna hai and was later seen in the reality show khatron Ke Khiladi along with the daily soap, jamai raja.

The actress wanted herself to stand out from the usual and felt her name was a bit too common. So she went on to change her name to nia. This stunning actress left us all even more shocked with her prominent performance in the serial, Naagin.

Rohitashv Gaud from Rohitash Gaud

Now we truly have no idea how to pronounce this actor’s name with a v in the end, our very own Tiwari Ji from the popular comical sitcom, Bhabhi Ji Ghar par hain is indeed one of the favorite characters from the show.

The actor even had a brief stint in the Bollywood industry and has played a supporting role in various blockbuster films like Kya Kehna, Munnabhai M.B.B.S., A Wednesday, PK, etc.

Anita Hassanandani from Natasha Hassanandani

One of the most popular and loving actresses on Indian television. Right!? The actress Anita Hassanandani was formerly known as Natasha. While her initial name Natasha had also suited the actress well, she went on to change her name much before she entered the glam industry.

The actress reportedly did so after being told that she could gain more business from her changed name rather than the previous one. This actress has a long list of appearances in both films and daily soap operas.

She has even ventured into Bollywood as a lead in the film, Krishna Cottage and has been a part of various other regional movies.

Vahbiz Dorabjee from Vahbbiz Dorabjee

Looks like many actors and actresses just went on to add additional letters in the name. This is possibly one of the best methods to keep both their names and numerology intact.

The popular Indian version of the twilight shows Pyaar ki yeh Ek Kahani famed actress Vahbiz Dorabjee wasn’t amongst the ones to add a letter to her name rather she dropped an extra one. While the reason behind the same is not known, it is estimated to have been done for numerology.

However, looks like a change in her name also couldn’t help the sinking career of the actress and she has only been a part of as many as four daily soap operas to date with the sitcom, Bahu Hamari Rajni Kant being the most recent one.

Rashami Desai from Divya Desai

Do you know that the bigg boss and uttran famed actress Rashmi Desai was initially known as Divya Desai? Well yes, this actress gained tremendous popularity after she participated in the reality show, Bigg Boss.

The third runner-up of the show made changes in her name after her mother consulted a numerologist. Her numerologist suggested doing so to bag more fame and fortune to the actress in the glam industry. Rashami is not only a well-known actress but also holds the talent of being a good dancer as well.

Veebha Anand from Vibha Anand

While this did not make any significant transformation in the pronunciation of her name, the Balika vadhu famed actress Veebha Anand replaced i with ee.

While this must have been done to gain more popularity and fame, it looks like this was not destined and could not help in the sinking career of the actress. Though we loved our “Sugana” very much, her innocence and popular character could not help her with gaining much more success in the industry.

Gauahar Khan from Gauhar Khan

You must have gone through the paparazzi, Gauhar khan. Right!? Right from getting fame with the film ishaqzaade to her performance as a winner in the reality show, Bigg boss, she became an all-time favorite and a household name to the audiences.

The actress added a to her name though it still gets pronounced the same. The actress also gained popularity recently for her marriage with Zaid Darbar.

Raqesh Bapat from Raqesh Vashisth

This serial saat phere lovely was one loved actor for his cute appearance. The actor made changes in his last name and went from Vashisth to Bapat.

Swwapnil Joshi from Swapnil Joshi

Now we completely can’t get up on the logic of just adding weight to the name with an additional yet unnecessary letter. This Shri Krishna famed actor has certainly become our imagination for the real Krishna.

The actor transformed his name by adding the letter w to his name without making changes in its pronunciation.
